Learning spaces that connect. Clear and transformative.

Brand Story

Untold Colors stands for learning spaces that connect.
With yourself, with others and with the bigger picture.

Untold Colors is clear and transformative.

The square is a stylised, cinematic canvas.
The ‘+’ symbolises an open outcome and continuity.
It’s like a cliffhanger in a film.

Purpose, Mission, Vision

We create learning spaces that foster a sense of planetary awareness, cultural connection and social responsibility.
For people and companies who think globally and act locally.

We design transnational learning journeys that facilitate long-term, sustainable change.
For organisations, their people and the planet.

We believe in learning spaces that promote solidarity and responsibility.
We strengthen the ability to lead with clarity and integrity in the midst of global complexity.
We help international teams in transforming cultural differences into positive outcomes.

What drives us is not just knowledge.
It is the untold story.
It is attitude.

Jan-Christoph Daniel - The person behind Untold Colors

I began with visuals.

Working in film production taught me the true meaning of collaboration. When it really matters. When nothing can be planned. And when something big is going to be created anyway.

A special time has left its mark. It was a documentary film shoot that lasted several weeks in China’s Yunnan Province. At an altitude of 3,000 metres. The conditions were cold and exhausting, and there were technical failures. The cameras had to be kept warm with neoprene covers. One crew member suffered from altitude sickness, while another wanted to give up.

And we waited. For the rare black-necked cranes, which are revered as sacred birds in Asia. For hours. In silence. Behind bushes. In the wind.

It was hard. But we finished the film. Because we could rely on each other. Because we endured conflicts. And because we all understood what was at stake.

This experience has stayed with me ever since.

I work the same way as I did back then. Curious, emphatic and attentive. With a clear eye for what lies between the lines. I love imperfection. The real thing. The silence between the words.

Many years in Southeast Asia have shaped my thinking. Zen, mindfulness, the empty space before the answer. I believe in the power of visuals. And in the wisdom of good timing.

Today, I design learning processes that go beyond mere methods. I create spaces where teams can rediscover their potential.

It is not about providing ready-made solutions. It is about helping you to ask the right questions.

My personal values

I see a world in which companies are not only economically successful, but also ecologically and socially responsible. This will be achieved by leaders who demonstrate planetary awareness, cultural intelligence, and inner clarity.

I inspire and accompany people through transformative learning spaces that change attitudes, actions and horizons.

I facilitate processes that forge connections between people, cultures and systems. I believe in ‘untold colors’ – colors that have yet to be discovered.

5 values that guide my actions in every project and encounter:

Humility

I work with a service-oriented attitude. Learning begins with listening, not answers. I create spaces in which people can grow, not my ego.

Curiosity

I ask questions before I make an evaluation. I love discovering new cultural, human and systemic perspectives. Genuine curiosity is the first step towards change.

Empathy

Every interaction begins by changing perspective and looking beyond roles, titles and cultures.

Depth

I go where real learning begins: below the surface.
I facilitate meaningful transformation, not just „change shows“.

“These 5 values are more than just marketing. They underpin everything I do.”

Dignity

Everyone deserves to be heard.
I organise learning processes in which people can show their true selves, free from fear and without masks.
Without dignity, there can be no development.

My personal approach - facilitation like on a film set

I come with an attitude. Not with a finished script.

There is a list of scenes: Themes and images that should appear. Scenes that you would like to include.
What really emerges only becomes apparent in the process. During the real encounter.

It is just like in nature documentaries.
You can‘t tell the cranes when to fly.
But you can be prepared when the time comes.

Be attentive. Patient. Curious. Have your camera at the ready.

How I work - The process

Processes arise when you take on different roles.
I am the director, not the star.
Taking personal responsibility is essential.

Your development is accompanied by opposites and contradictions.
I work with light and shadow.
They belong together.

The best scenes often emerge spontaneously.
I provide inspiration, not a rigid script.
The result is open.

How I work with groups

I prepare carefully, but I don’t cling on.
I provide support without pursuing an agenda.
I facilitate by asking questions.

This creates an open-ended process with a sustainable, long-term effect.

With a willingness to learn throughout life.
