Live-Presentation:
Shoshin – Beginner’s Mind

Are you ready for an extraordinary journey?

Anja Landgraf and Jan-Christoph Daniel invite you to immerse yourself in the wisdom of Asia.

Following the success of their pilot events in Hamburg and Düsseldorf, they will be touring Germany in 2026, bringing their stories, images, and experiences to life on stage. These inspirational evenings are open to everyone.

A journey full of contrasts and contradictions

In their presentation, Anja and Jan take you on a journey from Japan and South Korea to their former home in Singapore, then on to India and finally to Bhutan, the world’s most isolated kingdom.

In each country, they sought out the tranquillity of nature. They made pilgrimages to spiritual sites and visited sacred temples, shrines, and pagodas.

They explored breathtaking cities.

They experienced stark contrasts and contradictions.

They learned about life, privilege, health, and longevity.

And wherever they went, they met inspiring people.

Seoul

Future meets film

Seoul is a vibrant, youthful city with a strong technological focus, yet it is also deeply rooted in history.

Join us in ‘Robot City’, where robots act as museum guides and tradition meets digital creativity. Come and see for yourself how Seoul combines innovation and mindfulness in a hyper-connected world.

Blue Zone 2.0

Singapore is a man-made ‘Blue Zone’. It is a place where urban planning becomes an art of living.

With its blend of rainforest and skyscrapers, this metropolis demonstrates how progress and nature can coexist in harmony. Discover what happens when vision, discipline and mindfulness come together.

Singapore

India

Chaos and trust

India teaches us to abandon our plans and fully embrace life.

Amidst the noise and colours, a deep serenity emerges. We are curious, pragmatic and flexible. We demonstrate how the spirit of the beginning can be experienced every day. This is evident in places where improvisation becomes a way of life.

Happiness as a national goal

Bhutan measures prosperity in terms of happiness rather than money. This land, which is often referred to as being between heaven and earth, absorbs more CO₂ than it emits. It combines spirituality with responsibility.

We will show you how Shoshin takes shape here. In silence, adopting an attitude that heals the planet.
